Theresa was the Ericsson Country Manager in New Zealand and managed the full strategy and portfolio for Ericsson sales and delivery to Spark. Prior to joining Ericsson, she ran business development for Cisco’s Mobility and Big Data monetization business where she developed model constructs and Analytics strategies for Carrier Wi-Fi and Licensed Small Cells which were utilized for IoT through mobile ecosystem partners, and developing channels to market with key partners in Asia Pacific and Japan. She joined Cisco in 2004 as Strategic Account Manager for Cingular Wireless in Atlanta GA where she drove the CxO engagement strategy with the CEO and his team at Cingular and enabled Cisco to become a strategic partner for mobility services.
She has been a leader in both established and early to mid-stage technology companies – most notably was Director of Sales for Mobile Commerce software provider Qpass Inc., that enabled Cingular, AT&T Wireless, Sprint/Nextel OSS/BSS payment solutions to their end user customers for Premium Data Services. The revolutionary offering was the only way to allow the carriers to create, manage, bill, and remit payment to third-party Content Providers for a dynamic portfolio of premium data services, ranging from music, and video to mobile gaming prior to the iTunes launch.
She is a veteran of the Technology Industry; she began her career as the Telecommunications Analyst for the US Department of Commerce at the US Consulate in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She then went on to join various Silicon Valley companies such as Centigram, Octel and Excel Switching and held sales management positions with Lucent Technologies where she led Sales Consultant teams in the LATAM region.
Theresa is a graduate of the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where she earned an MBA in International Business in residence at the Universidade de São Paulo, São Paulo Brazil. Theresa speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese and is conversant in French.
