Being a woman of diversity was my hugest challenge when I started out in business, I experienced stereotyping and prejudices, so I found different ways to move forward… diversity is the one thing that sets me apart from any other designer in NZ and as a direct result has offered me incredible opportunities.  I feel it is my responsibility to acknowledge those opportunities by helping other women of diversity and our youth, so they feel confidence in who they are, so the road ahead will be a little smoother for them.
