Amber Craig

Amber is working on mastering the art of multiple projects. Having worked in technology for 13+ years Amber has worked for telecommunications and financial services corporations. She is currently working for a financial service company leading culture change and innovation in their technology team. She has won Best Individual at the Telecom Bright Spark awards in 2010 and was a finalist in the CIO Awards 2011 for Best Emerging ICT talent.

Amber is a board member on the Internet NZ Council and into her 4th year of governance. She also the chair of the Audit & Risk committee for Internet NZ. She is also the chair trustee and co-founder of the charity Whare Hauora, a start up social enterprise that empowers residents by giving them ways to measure whether their house is healthy or not. Amber is also a founding member and co-chair of the Women Who Get Sh*t Done (WWGSD) charitable trust, which is working to promote gender equality in Aotearoa. They do this through events and consulting to provide safe spaces to empower diverse (ethnicity, age and backgrounds) women from around New Zealand.
