Sarah Lim

Sarah is an Associate at LangtonHudsonButcher. Sarah graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2017 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She particularly enjoyed studying intellectual property law and employment law during law school and received Dean’s List awards and the SBM Employment Law Prize. Following her graduation, Sarah travelled the United States and Cuba for 6 months. Sarah returned to New Zealand in 2018 and started her legal career as a law graduate at Simpson Grierson. She is now pursuing her passion in employment law with a keen interest in researching equal pay, pay equity, and health and safety issues. Sarah currently sits on Auckland District Law Society’s Newly Suited Committee and endeavours to advance the interests of young female lawyers in New Zealand. Outside of the law, Sarah is a musician, poet, and a powerlifter. Sarah plays the piano, violin, ukulele, and guitar. You will often see Sarah at the gym lifting weights or at Albert park with her notebook and ukulele.
