Senior Marketing Manager, Dole NZ
I’m a Kiwi by choice and a Brazilian by birth. I’m a marketer with over ten years’ experience mostly in the FMCG industry, an area which I really love. I immigrated to New Zealand in 2009 but had left Brazil in 2004 to travel the world working onboard a cruise liner, as a guest service supervisor.
I’m the Senior Marketing Manager for Dole NZ. I love working with FMCG and working for Dole gives me a great insight into a well-established brand. I travel frequently overseas for work specially to the Philippines where we have our banana and pineapple plantations.
I’m a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (MCIM) and the Marketing Association NZ. I’m a committee member of the MA Northern Advisory Group, a group which aims to network marketing professionals in Auckland.
I have just started my MBA with Massey University and I also have a BCom Honours Degree in Social Communication major in Marketing and a Diploma in Digital Marketing.
I believe being part of an association such as SuperDiverse that encourages women to move forward is paramount. I’ve realised that I have become more and more feminist as I get older. A few years ago I wouldn’t even call myself a feminist at all, but when you realise a lot of great opportunities are lost simply because of someone’s gender you have no option then start advocating for women’s rights and diversity at the workplace.
