Sina Wendt-Moore

Chief Executive, Leadership New Zealand

Sina is an Alumna of the 2008 Leadership NZ Programme. She is a Pacific woman of Samoan, German and English descent. Married to John, they have two adult children – Isabella and Ash, and have spent the last 25 years living and working in Auckland.

Sina is committed to helping grow a generation of authentic and ethical leaders for 21st century leadership, and works to develop leadership, governance and the strategic capability of organisations and communities. Her leadership and governance experience spans 25 years, across commercial, public and social-profit sector.

She was the founding Chief Executive for NiuFM and the Pacific Media Network – the first national Pan-Pacific radio broadcasting network. Over 6 years, she led a diverse team that built the broadcasting services that enabled her to connect and positively impact Pacific communities across New Zealand.

Sina has a Bachelor’s Degree (Sociology, Political Science) and was a participant on the inaugural Global Women NZ – Breakthrough Women in Leadership programme 2010/2011. In 2014 she participated in CSCLeaders – a global leadership development programme that brought 100 Commonwealth leaders together to collaborate on a strategic challenge for the planet.  Sina’s current board roles include YWCA AotearoaNZ (Co-President), Pacific Music Awards Trust, AUT Business Industry Advisory committee, PACIFICA Auckland (Women’s Network), appointbetterboards and Mind Warriors (JOLT Challenge).
